For more than ten years, Mr. Brown has been responsible for driving the organization's strategic plan and day-to-day operations. In addition, he was instrumental in the creation of The Association of Open Group Enterprise Architects (AOGEA), which was formed to increase job opportunities for all of its members and elevate their market value by advancing professional excellence. Prior to joining The Open Group, Mr. Brown managed a consulting firm in London, which he founded in 1987. He enjoyed a mix of financial management and general management assignments, which included advising venture capitalists on investment decisions, and consulting on IT systems design and implementation.
